are revolutions progressive? and do they actually bring change for the better?
I think revolutions are progressive as they are a chain of events and factors that link together, finally creating a problem that affects ordinary people greatly. As the revolution slowly starts from the citizens, it goes in stages where symptoms appear, having rebellions and dramatic events to start, then rising a level by entering a crisis state of chaos and terror, until it reaches into a conclusion of consequences, not known if good or bad. Revolutions may bring good change to the people, but perhaps not everyone would be able to be benefitted from the cause, instead having disadvantages in the end. However, a bad revolution can be extremely harmful, bring tons of destruction and disrupting people's lives, bringing the problem to a worst state, and being more hard to be recovered from.
