after math and the impacts on france and it's citizens :
The french revolution had many varied effects upon the french people. At first the revolution provided them with a new sense of hope and freedom, giving them food when they had before been starving. The revolution ended the high taxation of the poor while also giving them new laws and liberties. However in the end, the french revolution was a failure, leading to the reign of terror and the rise of Napoleon. Therefore it could be argued that the revolution itself was a failure but it led to the largest change in Warfare of that age as well as the rise of the French Republic after the fall of Napoleon. What the French Revolution did do, was that it ended the reign of Feudalism in France, eliminating the bourgeois and allowing the peasants to become proper citizens. However most argue that the French revolution itself was not as success due to the rapid change from a moderate republic to more radical ideals.
